There are more than 13,000 households are still using black-and-white television across UK through TV licensing authority. Black-and-White television license costs are cheaper than a color license costs. According to TV licensing authority stated that people have to pay £ 49 a year for black-and-white, and £145.50 for color TV set. The reason that, people continued use could largely by explained by low-income households wanting to save money on the license fee. In addition, there may have users who prefer it because they don’t want to throw away a still working machine or they may want to collect due to old TV sets.
